How to install the caster swivel wheel correctly
Correct installation of casters can make it much easier to carry equipment and move objects.
However, different caster installation combinations will have different influences on the mobile
performance of the equipment. Mingshun Caster Factory has the following common types.
Caster installation method, provide related function introduction.
1. Install 4 casters, all of which are directional wheels
The 4 directional wheels have a diamond-shaped layout design, which is suitable for long
straight-line transportation of heavy equipment, and cannot be used on sloped working surfaces.
2. Install 4 casters, including 2 directional wheels and 2 universal brake wheels
The installation method of 2 swivel brake wheels and 2 directional wheels, there are two directional
wheels in the front, and two swivel brake wheels at the back near the push armrest. This assembly
is suitable for long and short distances and sloped roads.
3. Install 4 casters, all of which are universal wheels
The installation method of 4 swivel wheels is suitable for short-distance transportation of heavy
equipment, and has excellent directionality, and is often used in factory workshop turnover work vehicles.
4. Install 6 casters, including 4 universal casters and 2 directional casters
4 swivel wheels and 2 directional wheels are suitable for long-distance transportation of heavy equipment
and household countertops, good maneuverability, and are used for horizontal contact surfaces.
5. Install 3 casters, all of which are universal wheels
The installation combination of 3 universal wheels is suitable for the transportation of barrel-shaped or
small equipment, and its good maneuverability is better than the installation method of 4 wheels of the
same specification.
6. Install 4 casters, including 2 universal casters and 2 directional casters
The combination of 2 swivel wheels and 2 directional wheels is a conventional assembly method. There
are two directional wheels in the front, and two movable swivel wheels near the push armrest at the
back. It is suitable for long and short distance transportation of heavy equipment, and is economical
and durable.
7. Install 3 casters, including 1 universal caster and 2 directional casters
The installation combination of 1 swivel wheel and 2 directional wheels is suitable for short-distance
transportation of medium and light equipment with low center of gravity, with good directional control
and economy.
